Educating Leaders. Transforming Women’s Health.
The Bennett College Women’s Health Initiative (WoHI) is an integrated academic, research, and partnership effort designed to advance health equity for women—particularly Black women—through a life-course and systems-based approach. Anchored at Bennett College, the initiative brings together faculty scholarship, student learning, and strategic partnerships to address critical health challenges, including maternal health, chronic disease, mental health, and the social determinants of health.
As part of the Initiative, the College will introduce two new undergraduate degree programs - a B.S. in Public Health and a B.S. in Health Sciences - with concentrations in areas such as maternal health and health informatics, preparing students to lead and innovate within complex health systems.
Support the Women’s Health Initiative today – every gift helps transform students into advocates, researchers, and innovators improving women’s health outcomes.
