Below you will find answers to many common questions about Bennett College Day of Giving 2024.
What is Day of Giving?
Bennett College’s Day of Giving is an online fundraising event that will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 on this website. We are asking alumnae, faculty, staff, families, and friends to come together to "Ring the Bell for Bennett" and raise funds in support of the College and the next generation of Bennett Belles. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and truly make a difference. The giving period will be open from midnight to midnight so make sure to get your gift in before it's too late!
Can I make an early gift in support of Day of Giving?
Yes, early giving is now open! Click the “Give Early” button to make a secure, tax-deductible gift to the College. Prefer to give by check? Donations can be mailed to Bennett College to the attention of Institutional Advancement [900 E. Washington Street | Greensboro, NC 27401. All gifts received by Day of Giving will be added to the overall totals and donor rolls on this website on April 2!
What is a “Bell Ringer” Ambassador?
The Bennett College community is encouraged to help spread the word about the Day of Giving to alumnae, family, and friends via e-mail, word of mouth, text message, and on social media by signing up to be an official “Bell Ringer” Ambassador. In this role, you can easily track the donations you help secure. To get involved, sign up today.

Reunion Year: Belles did you graduate in a year ending in 4 or 9?!
This is your Reunion Year! The College sponsored on-campus Reunion Weekend is being held May 16-18. All gifts made by Belles who graduated in a year ending in 4 or 9 will count toward your Reunion Class contribution.
How do I add my support to a Challenge?
Challenge gifts inspire others to donate. Were you planning to make a gift to Bennett of $1000 or more? Why not let us know and issue that as a part of a matching gift or unlocking gift challenge? Contact IA@Bennett.edu and let us know you are interested in issuing a challenge.
Does a small donation really make a difference?
It truly does. Gifts of all sizes multiply impact. The minimum donation amount is $5.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes, all gifts to Day of Giving are a tax-deductible donation to Bennett College. Your gift will be acknowledged with an e-mail receipt for your tax records.
Can my donation be anonymous?
Your gift can be anonymous, simply check the appropriate box on the donation form.
I don't see my preferred gift designation.
For Day of Giving we chose to focus on five priority funds for the College. If the fund you want to donate to is not listed, give us a call at (336) 517-2248 and we can facilitate your gift.
I already gave this year, why should I give again?
Day of Giving is all about building energy in support of Bennett College and that happens when the entire Bennett family unites! Help us build a symphony of support by “Ringing the Bell for Bennett” and making a gift that will help us unlock challenge gifts, increasing the impact of your support. Think of Day of Giving as the second collection basket coming around!
I'm having trouble making my gift or I haven't received my gift confirmation email. What should I do?
If you have issues with the payment process, and/or if you haven't received your confirmation email and tax receipt, please email IA@Bennett.edu or call (336) 517-2248 for assistance.
